Isola Bella & Isola dei Pescatori
A relaxed half-day tour on the lake
This tour is designed for travelers who wish to experience the Borromean Islands in a lighter more relaxed way, combining a classic cultural visit with time to enjoy the atmosphere of Lake Maggiore without a full-day commitment.

We start in Stresa, where we board a shared motorboat to reach Isola Bella. Here, we expolre the island's narrow streets and visit the magnificent Palazzo Borromeo, stepping back in time through its richly decorated rooms, grand halls and evocative lake-facing grottoes. The visit continues with a stroll through the elegant Italian-style gardens, a remarkable blend of architecture and nature.
Afterwards, we continue by boat to Isola dei Pescatori, the only permanently inhabited island of the archipelago. Unlike the more formal atmosphere of Isola Bella, this island offers a slower, more everyday rhythm. We take time to wander through its charming lanes and end the experience with a relaxed drink at a local bar, enjoying the lakeside setting before returning to Stresa by boat.

Lasting approximately three and a half hours, this experience is designed for small groups, with a minimum of two and a maximum of six participants. For larger groups or families travelling with children under six, please contact us for further details and tailored arrangements.
