Brescia: walking tour with a drink

Brescia, also known as "The Lioness of Italy", is a city with a great artistic and architectural heritage, even listed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

From the first prehistoric settlements to the Roman era, from the Langobard Middle Ages to the Republic of Venice, from the years of Austrian domination to the present day, the city of Brescia has always been an important protagonist of over 4000 years of history. Over the years is has become one of the richest and most progressive cities in the country.

Our guided walk through the center of Brescia starts from its imposing medieval castle, from which you can enjoy a splendid panorama over the entire city. From here we descend towards the heart of the city, passing by the majestic ruins of its ancient Roman Capitol first and then continuing towards Piazza Duomo, with its very particular Old Cathedral. Lastly we make our way towards the rationalist Piazza della Vittoria. Finally, after admiring the famous Piazza della Loggia, we arrive at the historic Carmine district, where the history of the city fits perfectly with the many characteristic stories of its inhabitants.

At the end of our walk, a well-deserved local experience awaits us: the Italian Aperitivo. Together we will enjoy a glass (or more) of Pirlo, the most traditional and typical drink of Brescia
