Brescia UNESCO Tour

Santa Giulia Museum and Roman Archaeological Park

This tour is designed for travelers who want to discover one of Brescia’s most extraordinary and unexpected places, a site that fascinates visitors regardless of their background or interest in history.

We begin at the Santa Giulia Museum, a truly unique UNESCO site set inside a former monastery, where centuries of history coexist in a remarkably vivid and immersive way. Rather than feeling like a traditional museum, Santa Giulia is a place to be explored: Roman houses with mosaics and frescoes, early Christian spaces and Lombard churches unfold naturally as we move through the complex. We then continue to the Roman Archaeological Park, an exceptional area hidden beneath the modern city. Here, we discover temples and structures preserved below ground level, offering a rare perspective on Roman Brescia. The visit culminates inside the Capitolium, the heart of the ancient Roman city, where we admire the famous Winged Victory, one of the most important bronze statues to survive from antiquity. Seeing it in its original architectural context brings the Roman world strikingly close.

Our UNESCO Tour lasts approximately 4 hours and is available with a minimum of two and a maximum of ten participants. For larger groups or families travelling with children under six, please contact us for further details and tailored arrangements. Please note that the order of the visits may vary depending on logistics and availability.
