Centovalli Train Experience

Centovalli Panoramic Train and Lake Maggiore Boat Cruise

This full-day Lake Maggiore private tour from Italy to Switzerland is designed for travelers who enjoy seamless journeys across landscapes, cultures and borders.

The experience begins with a private transfer to Domodossola, where we board the iconic Centovalli panoramic train. This historic railway connects Italy and Switzerland, crossing alpine valleys, forests and small mountain villages before reaching Intragna in the Swiss Canton of Ticino.

From there, our journey continues towards Ascona, one of the most elegant towns on the Swiss side of Lake Maggiore, known for its Mediterranean atmosphere and colourful waterfront. Here we enjoy a relaxed walk through the lakeside promenade before returning to Italy.

In Cannobio, one of the most authentic villages of Northern Piedmont, we pause for a relaxed light meal overlooking Lake Maggiore, discovering local flavors and the easy rhythm of lakeside life.

The final part of the day unfolds on the water: from Cannero we enjoy a private boat cruise on Lake Maggiore back to Stresa, passing the Castles of Cannero and the Borromean Islands, with an aperitivo served on board.
