Lake Orta is a peaceful gem nestled among the Alps, admired for its quiet beauty and intimate atmosphere.

This tour offers a relaxed way to experience one of Northern Piedmont’s most evocative lake settings, where time seems to slow down naturally.

 

Our experience begins at Villa Crespi, the remarkable 19th-century Moorish-style residence overlooking the lake. From here, a scenic lakeside walk leads us into the elegant village of Orta San Giulio, where we explore its refined squares,narrow streets and beautiful views over Lake Orta.

 

From the village we take a short boat ride to San Giulio Island, often called the Island of Silence. Walking along its small lanes and peaceful monastic paths, we visit the ancient Basilica of San Giulio and follow the circular path around the island, marked by inscriptions inviting reflection and calm.

 

After returning to the mainland by boat, we conclude the tour with a relaxed moment by the lake, before heading back to the starting point, closing this quiet and atmospheric journey through one of the most enchanting corners of Northern Piedmont.

270 € per tour (minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10 partecipants)

PAYMENT TERMS

  • the guide fee for our service is paid on the day of the tour, either in cash or by credit/debit card. A regular invoice will be issued for all payments

  • our guide fee is not subject to a cancellation policy

  • any additional services required for the experience - such as boat tickets, transport, museum entrance fees or other third-party arrangements - are paid directly to the resperctive providers. These payments are handled separately and are subject to the providers' own booking and cancellation policies
